#10671 new enhancement

import csv from exported testcatalogs/testplans

Reported by: kelini Owned by: Roberto Longobardi
Priority: high Component: TestManagerForTracPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords: import, csv, testcase, testplans
Cc: Trac Release:

Description

Trac support with the current version an export function - but its useless if you can't import it again.

I would like to use this hack - but its a problem if I can't import the testcases/-plans from my testing environment to the working one.

On the other side, I would like to use this import function, to generate my testcatalogs ;) .

An alternative way would be to allow the easy import of testcases to add 'directories' or 'folder' to build the testcatalog from the csv-import.

Hi kelini, you're right, I always knew this was a real limitation of the test manager.

I'll try to find some time to implement an import feature that works both from an exported csv and from a new csv to create a full Catalog-Subcatalogs-Test cases structure.

Ciao, Roberto
