plugin doesn't work if Trac is behind firewall

Description

Hello!

Thanks for very useful plugin! Unfortunatelly our server located in corporate intranet behind firewall so it has two IP addresses - internal and external. From server itself it is impossible to open it's external address in browser. The problem - all pictures in page cannot be opened by URL retrieve as their URL (captured from page) - are external URL. Would be nice to have an option to automatically replace some IP address in links to localhost - may be with additional parameter in trac.ini.

Hi scratcher, do I get you right? Some pictures are linked with the external IP, so you need some option to substitute this IP, e.g. 89.54.123.456, with localhost.

I am quite busy right now, but I will see if I can come up with a solution until mid-end of August.

Yes, all pictures in HTML of wiki page have external address in their URLs despite they all are attachments and stored locally in Trac wiki. May be this problem could be solved in other ways, I just suggested a possible solution with replacement.

I have just checked in a change [5401] to implement your suggestion. Note that while testing this it seemed to work sometimes and other times not. Though this could be becuase #4563 also needs to be fixed (and one of my test machines has Apache with Basic Authentication).
