#12394 closed defect (worksforme)

no hierarchical display of components in ticket-windows

Reported by: kww_trac@… Owned by: falkb
Priority: normal Component: ComponentHierarchyPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc: kww Trac Release:

Description

I see the components in alfabetical order as before, when I click on the component selector in the ticket (new or update).

ComponentHierarchy 0.0.1dev-r0 is enabled, in admin I can see the column for parent, I can see the entries in the database.

I am using trac 1.0.6post2.

I have additional issues with ComponentHierarchyPlugin:

  • I see no way to make a component a toplevel-component after being a subcomponent
  • I would like to order the components in a non-alfabetical way
  • I had a circular hierarchy once while testing:
SELECT * FROM COMPONENT_HIERARCHY ;
1-Projektsuche|21-Garten
21-Garten|1-Projektsuche

Thank you

Replying to kww_trac@…:

Sorry to have bothered you, I see them now working as specified. So obviously it was a problem in my environment, not with the software. Maybe it has something to do with SimpleMultiProject 0.0.4dev-r0, which I installed later, but probably some different error of my own.

Thank you.
