Licensing issue?

Description

Is there any licensing issue when using the plug-in for company internal-use-only? Several people in my work group would like to use the plug-in but not sure whether to purchase a license.

Status: new → closed

The plugin is BSD-licensed, meaning (among other things) that you can use it freely (as well as modify it freely) also in your company environment.

The plugin also integrates CKEditor, which also has an open source license (GPL, LGPL, and MPL) - ​http://ckeditor.com/license, so there should be no problem with that as well.

Just a tip, not concerned with licensing - my original intent was to create this plugin in order to introduce it to my organization for internal use, but I still haven't done that, because the functionality is not ripe yet...

Thanks for the reply and the link to the license. On that page there is a following note. I'll contact CKeditor for more details.

Licenses CKEditor to be used inside pages of all web sites owned or produced by your company.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Itamar Ostricher.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
